This is my personal logo for my old portfolio website www.reganman.com. Using elements from the Ryan and Egan coat of arms, this logo represents the name Ryan Egan quite literally.

All elements were animated using shape layers and 2.5D layers—no true 3D assets were utilized. For the helmet sequence, a 3D model served as a reference to ensure accurate motion as it flew out of the castle door; however, the final asset was created and animated entirely with After Effects shape layers.

To achieve the correct perspective for the castle rising from the ground, I rotated 2.5D circles into a flat position for angle reference. For the griffin heads, I referenced multiple eagle photographs to capture the desired detail and movement. The swan’s animation was based on a video reference of a swan landing on water, ensuring realistic motion.
